Why Does the Pain Persist?

Have you ever had this experience? Pain that used to heal when you slept but now doesn’t subside. Or, what started as just shoulder stiffness has progressed to pain in the lower back and knees. Maybe during a massage, you feel good, but the pain returns quickly afterward. If any of these apply to you, your body’s natural healing ability may be significantly diminished.

In essence, there are three types of pain:
1) nociceptive, 2) neuropathic, and 3) psychogenic. These respectively refer to pain caused by injury, trauma, or inflammation; pain resulting from damage to the nerves themselves; and pain that does not fall into the previous categories. Chronic pain often involves a combination of these types. For instance, if spinal misalignment causes a shift in the body’s center of gravity, localized stress occurs, leading to inflammation and nerve damage, resulting in a chronic condition. Therefore, to fundamentally improve pain, it is essential to correct misalignments, a task that massage alone may not achieve, making Seitai more suitable.

At Handless Seitai, incorporating Japan’s top-level Seitai techniques, we offer treatments not only to adjust misalignments but also to enhance the body’s natural healing abilities and prevent the recurrence of misalignments. Experience how a life without pain can be comfortable and fulfilling.
