Common Questions about Seitai③
● Why does the body sometimes become sore after treatment?
There are mainly two patterns for this.
1️⃣ The first is called the “healing crisis,” a phenomenon that occurs during the recovery process. When the body has been experiencing pain for a certain period, the brain perceives pain as normal. When Seitai reduces the pain temporarily, the brain becomes temporarily confused, and you may start feeling pain again. Other symptoms may also occur, such as:
– Fatigue
– Drowsiness
– Nausea
– Sensation of warmth, etc.
These symptoms are not a sign of deterioration but are part of the recovery process. They typically return to normal within a few hours to half a day, so there’s no need to worry.
2️⃣ The second is called “post-treatment soreness,” which is pain due to minor muscle damage. This is more likely to occur if pressure during the treatment is too strong or if the points are pressed incorrectly. To prevent such issues, practitioners confirm the pressure intensity with clients and dedicate time to improving the precision of treatments among staff.
If the symptoms persist for more than three days, there is a possibility of an internal organ issue. In such cases, it is recommended to consult with a doctor for examination.
